LunaMetrics, an Internet consulting company in Pittsburgh’s South Side, will host three days of training, October 18-20. The training will include one day on Search Engine Optimization, one day on best practices in Social Media, and the final day on Paid Search.
Tuesday, October 18, is the SEO day; it will be taught by Christina Keffer. Christina runs the SEO department at LunaMetrics. Her department has improved the search ranking of virtually all their many customers, and so she brings a wealth of field experience to the day. The overarching goal will be to teach attendees to get their websites ranking for high-performing keywords. Topics will include choosing keywords, on-page optimization, site architecture, link building strategies, SEO for rich media and more.
Wednesday, October 19, is the Social Media Day; it will be taught by Brian Honigman. Brian’s work has been published in Mashable, AllFacebook, AllTwitter, BrandingBranding, and HubSpot. He recently finished teaching Social Media to the UNICEF team. The day will focus on setup and best practices for the major social platforms – YouTube, Twitter, and Facebook.
Thursday, October 20, is the Paid Search (PPC) Day; it will be taught by Brittany Baeslack. Brittany is a real paid search expert – she has worked with many clients, both very large and small, to recreate or create from scratch their paid search accounts. This will be a session for those who are new to Paid Search or consider themselves beginners. It will include topics such as how to choose keywords, how to write a great ad, understanding match type and quality score, and how to create great landing pages.
The training, held at the Hyatt Place –Pittsburgh – North Shore, will start at 9 each day and end at 5 PM; lunch is included. The price is $275/day with discounts for multi-day attendance.
