Circuits, LLC, a manufacturer of highly reliable flex and rigid flex printed circuit boards recently announced that the company has received official notification from Underwriters Laboratories (UL) that it has been awarded 94V-0 certification for flexible PCBs manufactured at the site.
The UL 94-V0 certification awarded to Circuits fulfills UL flammability test requirements for Flammability of Plastic Materials for Parts in Devices and Appliances. Underwriters Laboratory (UL) is an independent not-for-profit safety testing and certification organization. According to Circuits’ President, Adeodato Vigano “The achievement of this key certification marks yet another milestone for Circuits’ commitment to continually expanding the services and capabilities offered for both new and existing customers.” As flexible printed circuit boards find their way into more and more end applications, Circuits is now in a position to assist customers across all end markets requiring the UL flammability certification for flexible PCBs.
Circuits obtained their ITAR registration in 2009, ISO9001:2008 certification in 2010, and operates under a quality management system (QMS) designed to meet the requirements of MIL-PRF-31032 .

Circuits’ compliance with the ISO9001:2008 standard reaffirms the company’s strong commitment to quality.

We intend to complete our MIL-PRF- 31032 certification by year’s end to meet the rigorous demands of the military and defense markets.”
The implementation of ISO standards involves all aspects of the business from a quality management perspective; it ultimately improves business systems and processes, enhances customer satisfaction, and improves overall communication.
