Pittsburgh Silicon Valley Mission Wrapping Up

Wow. There really aren’t words to describe how cool the Pittsburgh Silicon Valley Business Mission has been. Especially on a few hours of sleep. I’ll let the pictures do some of the talking instead!

After a lunch with Kleiner Perkins’ Ray Lane, our entrepreneurs engaged with with other Bay Area VCs getting insight into all aspects of nailing down capital in the Valley and everywhere else. They met with Todd Kimmel, Partner at Mayfield Fund and Jay Jamison Partner at BlueRun Ventures to name a few.

After an intense day of being immersed in the Valley, we headed off to Restaurant 3000 — Silicon Valley’s most famous watering hole for VCs where PA Gov. Tom Corbett made a few remarks as we networked with more than 100 local business and finance leaders.

Look for a podcast of Corbett’s remarks soon! Lots of downloading to come. Today we’re off to Corbett’s press conference and a red eye back to Pittsburgh. Keep your eyes and ears ready for more reports and follow ups from the Pittsburgh Silicon Valley Business Mission.

Quite a few Fisker’s in the Valley.

The famous Restaurant 3000. Looks a little unassuming;-)

More than 100 Silicon Valley locals showed up for the NASDAQ reception.
