MarketSpace Communications, a full-service branding agency based in Cranberry Township, is now officially recognized as a Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE) by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC). The agency recently received its certification on May 30.
In order to achieve this national certification, MarketSpace completed a rigorous process, including an in-depth review of the business and a site inspection. The certification designates that MarketSpace is at least 51 percent owned, operated and controlled by a woman or women – in this case, MarketSpace Communications is 100 percent owned, operated and controlled by President & CEO Pam Peters.
“We are extremely pleased to receive this esteemed certification,” said Peters. “I hope this recognition will continue to inspire women to follow their dreams and lead or start businesses of their own, just as I did when I created MarketSpace.”
MarketSpace has also been recognized by the commonwealth of Pennsylvania as a Woman’s Business Enterprise (WBE) since January of 2008.
By including women-owned businesses among their vendors, corporations and government agencies can demonstrate their commitment to fostering diversity and the continued development of their supplier and vendor diversity programs.
